What FDF interested?

​the foundation is particularly in the following:

  • Strengthening religious values and implanting inherent Arab culture to ensure the
  • continuity of the family and the cohesion of society.
  • Working to help woman and strengthen her position to enable her to effectively
  • contribute to the economic and social development.
  • Adopting innovative methods to implement the policies aimed at looking after,
  • developing and qualifying women and children in line with the social policy of the
  • government, and in optimum cooperation with regional and international organizations.
  • Drawing up strategies and plans and implementing the programs specialized in
  • raising, protecting, looking after, and preparing children.
  • Adopting the principle of justice and equality between men and women, and
  • partnership within the family to keep pace with the comprehensive development.
  • Paying attention to fighting poverty and providing opportunities for women to
  • participate in the labour market to increase the family income.

When Family Development Foundation established?

In his capacity As ruler of Abu Dhabi Emirate, H.H Sheikh KHALIFA BIN ZAYED AL

NAHYAN issued Local Law No. 11 for 2006 to establish a public non-profit organization

named the Family Development Foundation. The Foundation is an independent entity

with full legal competence and financial and administrative independence headed by

H.H Sheikha FATIMA BINT MUBARAK. The Foundation would replace the Abu Dhabi
