    The Family Development Foundation (FDF) organized a celebration yesterday morning marking the UAE 43rd National Day, which was attended by HE Salem Al-Ka'by, head of the FDF Board of Trustees, HE Mariam Mohammad Al-Ramithy, director-general of the FDF, HE Sa'eed Ali Al-Ghofly, head of the Services and Support Department, Na'ema Al-Mazro'y, head of the Family Development Department and heads of departments and directorates along with staff of the foundation.

    H.H Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Federal Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah, visited the pavilion of Sea Culture Foundation participating in the Sharjah International Book Fair, where he was received by Sheikha Rawda bint Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan, the foundation's president and Mariam Al Rumaithi, Director General of the Family Development Foundation

    Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak (Mother of the Nation), Chairwoman of the General Women's Union, Supreme Chairperson of the Family Development Foundation and Chairwoman of the Supreme Council of Motherhood and Childhood has called upon the World Family Organization to provide programmes and services meant to support families in the territories of war or conflict. Her Highness also appealed to the authorities of the world to give this cause the care and dedication it requires.
